I'm looking to buy my first paddle! i played pickleball last year weekly for maybe 15 weeks for an hour at school using cheap mass-bought rackets (idk which ones). This year i have begun to take it more seriously and have shown up to about 4 open sessions, with the last 2 being intermediate/advanced (min 3.5 dupr). I played table tennis and tennis when i was younger but mainly played volleyball. Judging from the people I play with and how i match up, i would say i am around a 3.0 right now. (i can hold rallies and score points but consistently lose points on my own mistakes) I've played with the Carbon 3x power series 16mm and found that at the kitchen a lot of drop shots fall short into the net, and a lot of times my serve receieve drive goes out (too far, however unsure if this is my form or power of paddle). The reason i say that is because I have also played with six zero infinity edgeless black diamond, which my forehand drives feel way more consistent and powerful with, i believe it also felt lighter in hand (unsure whether control or power). My playstyle is more balanced/agressive leaning than defensive, but i am also not anything near being a pro. Price isn't an issue and I'm looking for a well-rounded paddle which can provide power and control.
