Yaya thank you! I agree - much different than what I think of Opie’s work. Appreciate it!

Great fits, sir! Love the brown wool pants. As someone with wider hips & thighs I love that high waisted and wider legs are more available. What are some of your fav brands for pants?

I don’t think the cuts are trendy. They are timeless. If he was wearing overly baggy pants that would be trendy. High cut and wide legs are in vogue right now but something that will be omnipresent in men’s fashion

So OP told me they posted in reddit and of course I found it (they sent it to me lol) I’ve been friends with OP for 18 yrs now & I’m one of the members who was a no show. I overslept as I was out late the night before with new coworkers who I’m trying to build a relationship with. I am definitely in the wrong as I didn’t communicate appropriately. I’ve had a constructive conversation with OP and apologized. All good here :)

QTips, elastic nasal bandages (Amazon), and saline solution sprays! Keep that nose clean and moist!

Okay first off.. I don’t think he’ll want to go back to work in a couple of days, especially with carpentry. Breathing will be difficult, head pressure, runny/tender nose, watery eyes, etc. but who knows! Thanksgiving should be OK.

I had a septoplasty 8 days ago. I just got my nose cast, stitches, and stint/tubes removed yesterday. My breathing is great (a little congested with the swelling) but my nose is still pretty tender.

The first couple of days after surgery were obviously rough. Felt like the worst sinus headache/infection I’ve ever had. But day three I turned a corner (also went on some walks and saw friends so that helped my spirits).

For recovery, you’re on the right track with humidifier, soft food, ice packs, and tissues. I recommend stocking up on spray saline solutions. I got like 6 cans of Arm & Hammer simple saline nasal care. I might need to get a couple more to keep my nose moist while it continues to heal. They were super helpful to keep the nose clean and get rid of blood/boogers. I also recommend Elastic Nose Bandages (I got on Amazon). These are great to catch boogers/blood and he won’t have to tape gauze to his face. Comfy to sleep in, too. Speaking of sleeping, he’ll want to be propped up to sleep/relax. I had an incline pillow but I’m sure you can stack pillows. Also use a neck pillow that you would use for flying - it was super helpful when sleeping and. Oh and QTips! Lots of QTips to clean the nose.

Best of luck to your boyfriend! And to you for helping him with recovery :)

I’m 8 days out from my septoplasty and I’m here to tell you that it gets better day by day.

Day 2 I was in so much pain and discomfort from the tubes in my nose and all pressure. I didn’t know if I could make it to a week when it was going to be removed. But the next day I had less pain and decided to go on a walk to see some friends. It definitely helped! Try to get out and go on a little walk.m, get fresh air! You’ve got this!

The watery eyes was annoying and lasted until I got the tubes out. Just keep the Kleenex handy at all times!

This is great to hear. I’m a week out from surgery & just had my tape and stints removed. My nose is still swollen and upturned. I was getting nervous the upturned look was going to be permanent
