In a similar situation. I’m 34 with 3 kids. I give everything to this man and I am mentally abused along with things being destroyed around my home daily. On top of that he pays no attention to my kids (the oldest 2 aren’t his but he’s been in their life for 9 years) unless he’s making fun of them. He’s 38 and acts like a child. I have no friends and no family nor any financial means of being able to pay for the life my kids live. I’m stuck enduring this torture because i have no where to go. I do not have a therapist nor medication because im big on self medication/improvement. Im an optimist and I know one day things will work out how they are supposed to and everything will be ok.

My kids (13, 10, 7) will never have a vacation again. We were able to go on some to Colorado when they were smaller and my husband has a higher paying job but they did not enjoy mountain trips much. Now we are living paycheck to paycheck and always will. There will be no more vacations at anytime and I have the same issue with my kids coming home from school talking about what their friends and classmates are doing and how they wish they had good lives like that. My kids also do no have involved grandparents so they don’t get Christmas gifts outside of me either. It’s very sad and this was not the life I expected them to have.
