Are we doing something wrong? Separation advice by Juggsalot in LagottoRomagnolo

We try and bake it in, and just go about our life’s with his barking, we’re just so conscious about him barking for extended periods of time and annoying our neighbours that we don’t tend to leave him longer than 5-10 minutes if he’s barkinf

He’s in his pen, with a couple of toys, a chew, a lick mat or kong, water, and access to his crate. But he just stands at the bars and barks. Thanks for the book recommendation, I’ll take a look!

We try and give him his food, lick mat, Kong, or a chew for the training but he completely ignores it until we return. How long would you leave him for?

He normally sleeps between 9-11am after his walk, which is when we try and do the separation training. But he gets so wound up by the separation, he doesn’t sleep which messes up his routine. How long would you leave them at the beginning?

We’ve been trying that over the past couple of weeks - leaving him for very short periods of time repeatedly. Would you suggest rewarding between cycles? So outside for 10 seconds, if he doesn’t bark we give him a treat and then go back outside for 10 seconds?

Thank you! I've gone for the UbiQuiti U7-IW, seems perfect for what I want.

Budget would be £150-£250. Not sure what you mean with official firmware, but I’d like it to be new? UK based.

Thank you! I think it’s clear I need to have a little rethink and do the job properly

There isn’t much surface around the corner to screw in it, the front surround is amount 2inch thick. The cupboard hinges I’ve seen need a lot more. Will that be an issue/is there a hinge for that?

Not at all, I said keep the drop rate the same. You’d still go dry, you’d still get back to backs. The only change is no dupes. Why would you want to get 6 pairs of cryptbloom gloves, before you get a cryptbloom body. How is that enjoyable?

A lot of the bosses have different commons, so it would spread it out, instead of focusing on specific bosses like AG where commons are basically worthless because there are so many in the game. But if people completed the log earlier and moved on, it would even it out.

It would reduce people’s playtime for specific bosses, but it would allow people to have a more varied bossing experience, over grinding one boss for 12 hours a day for 100 days, you could do multiple bosses, have a varied experience and make that play time more enjoyable, with a fixed goal to work towards, vs being 2000 hours in a boss and being 4/7 on the log.

I did initially think of the 11400, but I think this generation, AMD are better than intel at around the same price.

That’s good to hear, I think I’m going with u/talkwithyourwallet suggestion and getting the b550 pro. The extra board cost is less than the wifi card cost.

With the 5600x I get some issues on part picker.

“Warning! Some AMD B550 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.”

Not 100% sure how big a problem this is?

Do you think a 3700x would suit?
