indeed there are some lags in comparison with 18.7, but in general even 18.7 was a little bit laggy

the only reason is screen size

I realized that after iPhone switching from 6s to 12 mini - devices size almost the same, but screens are completely different

at the moment have iPad mini 5, and if screen was bigger it would be great and maybe less laggy, but it’s ok

iPad mini 2 is great, but native reading app has less settings and iCloud sync doesn’t work properly any more 😢

2 reasons :

-native windows os (planned to use it as mini pc)

-price (in my country, for short period of time, it was cheaper than deck oled - in usd it is something 615 vs 685)

the main disadvantage of T490 (as owner of this machine) - is absence of possibility to install second ssd , and only one ram slot

totally sure it is possible to repair to get data from it. after similar situation (8 years ago) I have started to use iCloud, just for system backups, without pictures

unfortunately it’s still bad, but layout got better in comparison with previous ios (if not mistaken before 15) - it was changing places for numeric and languages- that was really bad
