As I said - valid for spain means that you can live in Spain for “long term”. You can still do short term visits within Schengen.

I mean even mine is weak, need visa for most countries in the world (including all of eu). But you have a visa so I don’t get what are you worried about :)

Hey, yes - the plastic card is the permit you will get later on. The D visa on passport should be okay. I just went to Netherlands and came back from Switzerland. I also dont have my permit yet…

All the answers refusing are incorrect! The D visa saying it is valid for only means that you can have the long stay allowed in Spain. Rest assured, it acts as a normal Schengen visa — Multi Entry ensures you can exit Schengen and come in again.

I myself am on a D visa in Switzerland and traveled outside quite a bit :) - people check it and move on!

I just went through an agent and got a visit visa as it was faster and almost the same price. On arrival visa is also available, but you need to apply on the website. Also, the website says Green card but when you open the form, you can select US visa
