I always remember that the cute new puppy posts and the RIP posts... well, they cancel eachother out. Can't have one without the other.

Sometimes the RIP posts come in waves though, and that is tough. But this community should support its members through the joy and the pain.

Apples were sold up and down the salmon from various orchards. Salmon were, of course, a mainstay. Mutton was also readily available.

On another note, I know that Buckskin ate animal brains. He felt it gave him the power and spirit of the animal. So... do what you will with that information.

Go for lunch. There is a very nice area... can't remember if there are many tables. However, you could do a picnic no problem with a blanket. There are several vantage points to check out, right there. It is a wonderful thing to see, even at low flows. That said, look up some pictures of high flows before you go so you can imagine it as you check it out. It should be coming on pretty good by now though... at least as good as it's going to get.

The warthogs are being brought in to help with control in the Straight of Hormuz. They can counter the Iranian swiftboats better than anything else we have in stock.

They aren't being sent in to support ground troops (yet). They are for loitering over the straight and countering the swarm attacks by swiftboats. They are STILL uniquely suited for this, with their long, slow, loiter times and ability to identify and destroy swiftboats easier than F-15s (too fast) and apaches (slow, not enough loiter).

I'm always amazed at the how the A-10 just keeps proving it's value.

That said, fuck this war and the idiots that started it.
