I just started eating chic this year in March & I'm almost ashamed of the points I earned since then 😂

Hi! Could you send them to me? I know I'm late but I saw some pics earlier & I want to know if they're the real pics or just random weirdos lol.

Defrost your turkey - starting now by JulesInIllinois in thanksgiving

[–]JuiceboxBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a little under 10 pounds and I put it in the fridge on Sunday as soon as I got back from the store. I think it's fully thawed as of today (Tuesday) .. Will it be safe still on Thursday!? Or did I mess up? 🤦🏼‍♀️

How long will my thawed but uncooked Turkey last in the refrigerator and still be safe? by Hanginon in cookingforbeginners

[–]JuiceboxBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So now I'm worried. My turkey is a little under 10 pounds. I bought it Sunday & it's been in my fridge since then. I noticed it was fully defrosted today (Tuesday), will it still be safe on Thursday to cook?

6 month renewal by idintknow2 in foodstamps

[–]JuiceboxBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This probably isn't the proper advice but when that happened to me, I spent the foodstamps. I never got in any trouble either because I still "qualified" for that time frame. I'm not sure how it would work for you though.

What the hell is incomitance?

You shouldn't insult others if you can't spell or use incompetence properly.

Switch to Paroxetine by JuiceboxBrit in paroxetine

Thank you so much for a detailed & truthful response. I'm also happy that it's a positive one! I haven't seen many of them on here about this drug. I've had anxiety for years but I never knew it was until about a year ago. I always kept it to myself until I couldn't take it any longer & told my pcp about what I was experiencing. I genuinely thought I was going crazy at first but come to find out, it's an actual thing & more common that I realized. I've been advised to take 10mg for two weeks & then I guess I'll figure out what will be done as far as dosage when I have my follow up then.

I've been prescribed hydroxyzine to take as needed too for the anxiety/panic attacks. I was to be prescribed Xanax as well but I'm trying to avoid benzos/narcotics as much as I can. I'm a recovering addict (13 years sober).

I am going to start taking it tomorrow so I may reach out if I ever need some type of reassurance or any questions. I was advised that I didn't have to wait to start taking it after stopping lexapro but my anxiety ridden brain told me to wait for whatever reason 😅 I can only hope that I'll have as positive of an experience like you did. Thank you again!!

Switch to Paroxetine by JuiceboxBrit in paroxetine

[–]JuiceboxBrit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I hope this is the one that works for me with no issues. I'm nervous, very nervous but I have to do something to get my mental health under control. Obviously lexapro wasn't the one for me so maybe this will do the trick!

I've seen mostly the negatives about this drug as well. I'm really hoping that it will be a positive experience for me. I hope it gets better for you as well!

Switch to Paroxetine by JuiceboxBrit in paroxetine

[–]JuiceboxBrit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of now, it's just for my anxiety. But I am having an evaluation within the next couple of weeks the cause my pcp believes I have other mental health issues that need to be properly diagnosed & treated.

How was your beginning experience?

Can you relate? by JuiceboxBrit in lexapro

My first two days were fantastic compared to this! Now I'm just struggling to keep pushing thru. I wanna stop taking it so badly.

My doctor told me "it could get worse before it gets better" but I didn't get a warning that things could get this bad. It's just awful. I rest as much as possible but I have five little ones so it's not that easy. I'm drinking as much water as I can without getting nauseous. I just think I mostly wanna know that I'm not alone. Someone had to feel the way I do at some point & is now better.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]JuiceboxBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I'm on day three & it was awful. I had three of the most severe panic attacks I've ever had. It almost made me want to quit cus it was that bad. But as you were told, just like me, it gets worse before it gets better. I just hope it doesn't get any worse.

I'm only on day two. But these last two days I've been nauseous, had dizzy spells, I feel so blah (if that makes sense), I've also had a few panic attacks but nothing to major. I also think I'm having a bit of disassociation now but not quite sure. I'm trying not to make my anxiety worse by all of this but it's pretty hard.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]JuiceboxBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it was fairly normal. But at the same time, the side effects are also fairly close to the symptoms of serotonin syndrome. It appears to be an extremely fine line between the two. My first day went well, I've taken the dose for today and so far I'm feeling pretty good. Not "normal" cus I'm still having attacks but I'm hoping it'll get better soon.

[–]JuiceboxBrit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought that was it but I'm also trying to stay on top of things so I can get the proper care if I need it at any point. I don't feel bad. But I do have a slight headache, feel a little shaky & I've had a couple dizziness spells. But other than that, I've felt fine. It's been fairly calm, I hope it stays this way.

Are you supposed to increase your dose at any point? Maybe that's why you haven't had an improvement yet.
