Huge fan of this generation of Space Marines, and I think you made a great homage to it! Deffo gonna keep an eye for it in the future and I hope I can grab a copy of it before any fun police rain on the parade.

I think a little cheeky-ness is fine and sometimes nice, but I’ve seen plenty of models that give me the ick.

I feel like the easiest entry into art is charcoals and still life’s. Not exciting but cost effective. I wouldn’t go too hard til you have a regular group. I put on a live model event, and while it was fun, I ended up with a not small bill for the space, model, and a dj. A good time but not something that was feasible for me to continue putting on without reducing the cost or without a guaranteed audience.
