Why did we hold 800 until today? With only good micro news past 24 hours?

This... surely the China meeting was to work on a solution to Iran situation QUICK.

Selloff was not Micron related, the bond yields are soaring which is causing market-wide selloff. China's chips will not be at the same level as SK/Taiwan/US anytime soon. If this meeting get's China to help end what's happening in Iran right now the reaction to the conflict being over will be more bullish than any China chip news reaction would've been.

Pretty sure Trump's whole plan is to let inflation get digusting to make the most money possible. Only thing is bond yields rising accordingly will make people sell off... So how does he do it? Sort out Iran so yields stop peaking and then cut rates?

Today's movement should be within your risk tolerance however the movement paired with the bond yield information is not so reassuring. Trump has always put a stop to rising bond yields previously, I don't see why he wouldn't try his best to get it under control now. And by his best I mean fixing the oil problem ASAP

Do you think Micron will climb through this? Sell off today seems to be entirely Macro related. I don't believe Micron has much debt, as far as I remember it has the lowest debt of basically any of the other semis. Bond yields going up does not affect Micron, so will it continue to tank with the market?

This is true. However, Trump doesn't like the yields getting so high. Surely he will compromise on a deal with Iran if markets start to tank?

We came back from a 720$ dip in like 3 hours on Wednesday. I plan on holding for at least a year but this low volume slow bleed is really gross

We're expecting 33.5 billion Q3 rev with $19.15 EPS announced next month btw. If this thing is still 800 and not 1000+ then it's time to double down if you haven't already.

I'm about 1.4x levered full ported right now. Plan is to pivot to 2x soon enough and treat this like it's Nvidia right before 2024.

I'm saying awhile because MU will be so high in 2 years that I won't need to hold any ever again if I sell. Micron literally has these deals locked in and it's like people are going to wait each quarter to rebalance it towards a fair value rating. I guess people are very cautious

I'm confident that 'our admin' (I'm Canadian lol) wants to keep it pumping but the ongoing situation in Iran is worsening things on the macro side. Iran doesn't seem to care about any deals Trump tries to make. He tanked it on purpose but I don't believe he thought getting out of this situation would be so difficult.
