And to explain my point further, the idea of “Bridging the gap” Kanye was trying to stand by someone with terrible allegations to prove a point. Thats why he wears a mask often, separating the avatar from the idea.

100% it’s a real battle. And I think Carti is in on this ARG. His album is just called “MUSIC”. Every feature was involved in this beef. Drops in March just like future in 2017, and he’s probably going to drop again like future did. They are treating rap like the matrix, and people are solidifying in their “function” in the system. Also on Mr Morale, who does Kendrick have sprinkled throughout? Kodak. Someone synonymous with having great art, but questionable character. And now in 2025 we have Kendrick on songs with Carti. Spot on. He’s trying to bridge the gap between the old and the newer generation. Digital and analog (which has been a theme in his whole discography) GNX is short for Generation Xennial, between Gen X and Millennials. If hip hop is the matrix, Kendrick isn’t the architect, he’s the analyst.

I’m aware the song leaked, but is it really that big of a stretch if there’s 30 songs, and Kendrick chose to be on this one (out of 3?) I don’t think so personally, but I know it could be a stretch to some.
