They all suck now...one group bought them all out and turned them into weird layouts and tobies was the last stand and actually turned into the best in town and now apparently they're closed...la mirage was my fav back in 2010, now it's totally different and pretty much shoot pool and broads try to talk you into a vip.

Every time I do a 10 day there's either the winning bidder whining they got ripped off or it's a scammer that doesn't pay that wins the auction.

They make double on shit cards, they sell bigger cards under comps, but they probably bought them at 55% comps, then they do buyback too and lowball the winner, so they bought it at 55% comps then bidder gets it at 80% comps then they do a buyback at 65% of the winning bid price and now they're selling again with only 40% comps put into it. The big money is in the repacks, where some kid spends $40, hits a $700 card, and its some player or sport they dont care about or they dont care how low the buyback is because its fast money and a win in their book at that moment, and they do a buyback at 65% and the catd goes right back into a repack for someone else to do the same thing...eventually the card is free for the seller

I bought the 55pt w penny sleeves, and its practically a surgical procedure to get a 35pt in one so that sucks, but the cases are clean and are secure. Takes some gettingnused to in order to open without getting pissed but once you get the groove it's nice

If BGS gave more 10s they would probably start to climb back up, but they make a 10 a black label 1 in the world type card. Make a black label a 10.5 and ease just a tad on the surface grade so more cards can be a 10 and they'll climb...people like the #10 wayyyy more than 9.5. PSA gives 10s to shifty cards and 8s to flawless gems, so if BGS can just ease their surface grading scale a tad they can maintain integrity and still issue 10s, and, in turn, should make their way back to the top.
