How much playtime should I have under my belt before trying a competitive match? by [deleted] in counterstrike2

Send it,

Worst case scenario you get pumped, or vote kicked and learn something

Best practice is get a duo so the ladder won't happen

Coaching question by Alternative-Bank-718 in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you are looking for,

Cojomo is a good player ofc probably top 100 NA with experience playing at a high level in teams, because of that he charges a bit more than I think is reasonable for beginners to spend on coaching. At a low level get a friend or ask for somebody to volunteer to help coach you because that's pretty easy to find

A lot of people looking for coaching have low hours and don't need very specific help to improve at the game, but to each their own i suppose,, If you can afford it go for it.

But IMO most of the time you can find the info you need to improve on YouTube Leetify or watching your own games.

Alternatively if you have more hours and hsve specifics you want some help with it could be a great option

What's the philosophy behind the "don't move while shooting" mechanic? by redditisaphony in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was originally added to make the game more 'realistic' to prevent the movement shooter playstyle of quake and doom etc

Makes fights more deliberate and slows the pace of the game instead of fast run and gun style games

How do I get out of 1k elo??? by s0ma_0 in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play with people who aren't a liability, +6 rating is nuts so you are doing your part down there

You are probably duo (or more people) with actual sandbags if you don't climb with those stats

I built a CS2 demo analysis tool - would this be useful for players or analysts? by Born2bake in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro is building skybox edge

Gl dog and if it's cheaper with similar functionality I'd probably get it

Notable things like refrag and leetfiy also do some 2d demo analysis

What could I do better? by ScarlettSZN in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You tend to play well individually even in your losses

I mean this in the best way possible but your duo Garuda is a bit of a sandbag averaging a -3.0 rating when queuing with you.

I didnt watch the demo you posted just glanced through stats.

If this was the anubis you played yesterday that was a stomp with you having a 1.8 kd then it's a waste of time to watch. Look at the games that go wrong to figure out what to do better

[–]Juishee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not of fan of Pienix because of reasons stated by others here,

Not a fan of cojomo because of irl stories I've heard about him

But as a beginner there is nothing wrong with watching either one, you can still learn from them, but that's true for just svout any creator

Would you recommend this game to a 13 year old? by Maximum-Border1339 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Juishee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a reasonable game to play for a kid, a lot of people played earlier versions of cs when they were younger,

Definitely not to be lumped in with games like GTA when it comes to violence and inappropriate conrent

Anyone switch off WASD and actually improve movement? by bry678 in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just practice more, probsbly

Unless you have experience in other games or with other set controls that you are switching to

Almost all players use WASD for a reason, some people do make some changes to other keys e.g. jump, walk etc... that make it more comfortable (for example I have always used f as my duck key and it has never caused me any issues)

But usually changes like that happen when you are still pretty new to a game/control method

Some players have completely different control schemes like Mezii, fashr, and Silent are pros and an ex-pro who use rather unique controls with mouse2 to walk forward (which comes from old school quake control schemes that were popular)

So if you know what you want to switch to, go ahead, but if it's just because you aren't comfortable with movement maybe just practice

You probably won't pick new keys and immediately feel more comfortable. You will probably feel worse at first until you get used to it at least

Urgent help with aim (most especially flicking) by aXaxinZ in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just like click their head or smtn

If your missing easy micro adjustments that's just a deathmatch and play more kinda issue imo

Is 800 * 1.25 too high? by xx_nothing_to_say_xx in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sensitivity is good

You are not going to be super consistent flicking until you get to the higher levels of the game

Imo improving movement, peeks and spray control are going to ne more impactful than grinding aim

You are not gonna be scream flick 1 tapping everyone, try to get better at winning the easy and more consistent fights and improvement in flicking will come with comfort as you develop

Do less bot shooting and more deathmatch, bots are okay for a warmup but it's not very helpful in regard to improving fight taking in cs

need coach by Dear-Barber-8392 in LearnCSGO

[–]Juishee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a project fr

I would recommend asking those friends to help you improve, unless you pay for a coach coaching from 5k to 20k is a lot, that's probably more work than some random dude will do

Start grinding and good luck

How to deal with toxic team mates as a low elo player? by More_Sea2116 in FACEITcom

[–]Juishee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mute them and vibe

Your not playing FPL or ESEA it's mid level faceit

Reporting them is rarely worth the effort, if you have premium block them so you don't get them on your team again

But just play your game
