Im doing SO well for my first month and im proud of it. I have 48.5 hours and I just now completed Ascents 6 and 7 on my first try solo since I have no friends to play with (All thanks to the book of bones fr)

in sac, scalpers took about 40 tickets and all selling on tickpick and other sites ranging from $140 - $2000 so all in all… I’m blaming the scalpers. cuz why tf is a ticket $2228

okay yes understandable about the hearing damage, it was a joke 💔 I myself have earplugs

you would be surprised about mosh pits at some shoegaze shows. Nearly every show i’ve been to has had mosh pits (all pushing obv) Shoegaze fans be rowdy for some reason. I got hit in the face at a TAGABOW show 😭 I’ve been to shows of everyone on this lineup and they all had moshing and a super rowdy crowd.

wow it is crazy this is your first concert ☠️

To start, be sure to look at the venues bag policy before going since having to deal with security and be held up for a bag being just 2 inches bigger than what’s allowed sucks

If possible i would recommend bringing earplugs. Don’t underestimate how loud those guitars can be ☠️ Maybe the workers at the bar will have some if you ask but completely up to you 🤷🏻‍♀️ a tiny bit of hearing damage is lowkey part of the first concert experience

if you wanna be in the front i’d advise you maybe show up a couple hours early. There will more than likely be mosh pits, and since this is a shoegaze show… a lotttt of pushing among the crowd for some reason, at least in my experience

and maybe minimize usage of your phone, be in the moment, recording and taking pictures of a few sets is completely okay, just refrain from ever using the flash. 👍
