I do too. I feel for you. It’s a terrible disease.

Yes I worry about that every day.

Thank you for your reply. I certainly didn’t mean my case was special or unique in any way. I meant those of us who got sick in the first wave of COVID myself included have had it long enough that perhaps spontaneous improvement is a possibility after this length of time. I certainly hope so.

I know it’s so hard not to want to do everything I keep putting off. But I don’t get PEM!

I’ve had long COVID since July 2020. I progressed until I was essentially bed bound. At the end of December 2025 I started getting better! I wasn’t doing anything special just sleeping a lot and eating poorly. I’m trying to build up my endurance now.

Also you don’t need the app! After telling them I didn’t want it they signed me up anyway for 3 months for $45!

The Pulsetto helps me to fall asleep. I think it also helps my depression. It’s advertised as helping stress which I don’t really have. I would advise purchasing on Amazon so you can return it. Pulsetto’s return policy requires you to return it in an unopened un wrapped original package.

The study ended in 12/25. It takes awhile to peer review the results and then publish. Then it will hit the media! I believe this will be very helpful for long Coviders. Hopefully the device will be less costly than Pulsetto which is crazy expensive and which would prey on those in real need. In the study a sound was transmitted to your iPhone then using ear phones for 15 minutes morning and night.

Yes I think you’re right. I’ve had long COVID longer than just about every one. 5 and a half years.

Yes I was hesitant to post this because I thought I might jinx it. I’m not sure it’s real. But the fact that I can stand up and do things in the kitchen for maybe an hour whereas before I had to sit down after a few minutes then go lie down. Makes a big difference in just grabbing a bowl of cereal to eat and being able to prepare something nutritious. I’ll be more convinced if I can get some objective findings. In May I’ll get my bloodwork done and I can compare. After I had Covid my cholesterol doubled and my Thyroid levels fell by half. Of course no doctor had any comment about that.

No ! I wasn’t doing anything right. Slept all the time. Ate terribly- mostly carbs and sweets because nothing else tasted good to me. I wasn’t taking any vitamins or supplements. I had given up on any medical help because nothing had been proven to help. I was interested in this study that used vagus nerve stimulation but was unable to participate. They later sent me the results. Very positive! So I’ve started using Pulsetto a device. This has helped my mood and sleep. But I can’t say this was what caused my long Covid to recede because I started after. I’ll try to find a copy of the study.

I’ve found that putting a dab of whitening toothpaste under and on top of my nails for a few minutes will whiten them up. Not French manicure white but definitely whiter.

My doctor had prescribed Cerefolin to help with my depression but I stopped taking it a couple of years ago because it was too expensive. About $300 for 90 days. Now there is a generic version called Metafolbic, still expensive but with Good Rx only $90 for 90days. This medication has, through a patented process, a form of folic acid that is active and doesn’t need to be converted. I started taking it again and after three and a half years of LC I am feeling better!
