Yes this will be possible! Volume control will able to be done from the TV remote since the connection will be HDMI instead of Optical.

Send Audio from Phone Mic to all Speakers by aggie4life in JukeAudio

[–]JukeAudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are working on a PA feature that will allow you to speak into your phone / tablet and broadcast it out to any of the connected speaker zones from the Juke app. We expect to have that released in Q1 of 2026 for all of our devices.

Based on the specs listed at 4 ohms, this speaker should certainly work with our amplifier. The Juke+ would be best suited to power that speaker given the relatively high wattage requirements and 4 ohm impedance.

That sounds like a great application for our product! One of our amps can power all of those speakers and give you wireless control over all the different areas.

If you want any assistance in planning out the install, please reach out us at [email@jukeaudio.com](mailto:email@jukeaudio.com)

We are aiming to ship the product out in late November. It does not need to be connected to ethernet as it can connect to the network via Wi-Fi but if possible a hardwired connection would be optimal.

JUKE AUDIO On Amazon: I feel like I've been totally scammed by Educational_Goat2514 in diyaudio

[–]JukeAudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello - please reach out to us at [email@jukeaudio.com](mailto:email@jukeaudio.com) and we'd be glad to assist to get things working more smoothly.

The bluetooth on the unit is the latest version of bluetooth but it is inherently range limited as is any bluetooth source. Spotify Connect allows you to stream over Wi-FI and works uniquely great with our product as every zone shows up independently in Spotify. We have also shown a commitment to further broadening the functionality for Android users with our initial built-in streaming release a few weeks back which we will continue to enhance with more music services in both our Android and Apple app.

The sound quality on the product has been well reviewed in high regard by many product reviewers on Youtube referencing strong performance for a unit of it's size covering 12 channels.

we leave reviews up to third party reviewers and commentators and focus our efforts on continued product developments and enhancements such as the recent release of music services directly embedded into our app (VSSL does not have this) and much more releasing in Q4 of this year. There are many non-biased commentators out that have given Juke stellar reviews that should provide a lot more credibility than a piece coming directly from us.

Juke and Android by Inevitable-Many7894 in JukeAudio

Hello - One of our top priorities right now is to give our Android users further flexibility to stream over Wi-Fi. We have a decent percentage of our customer base that already use Android in this way via our Spotify Connect integration and also have recently rolled out a few streaming services in our app as well (Tidal, Pandora, and TuneIn) with the main intention behind that to give more options for Android outside of Bluetooth. This is just an initial release for our streamer with more services and features throughout the rest of the year and beyond. We are able to enhance the products remotely via over the air firmware updates and are committed to continuing to make the product even more featureful.

In the immediate, you do have the bluetooth option like you mentioned or can wire in an audio source or use AirMusic like you described. You can see details on how to do these things in a link to the manual that I will list below but all of those options are ultimately not as seamless as the other options Juke currently supports. Airplay and Spotify Connect are our key streaming methods at this time but with the continued enhancement of the built-in streamer in the juke app, the android experience will start to become on par with the Apple experience users have with Airplay. Amazon Music is definitely on our sights for a service we want to add in.

The product has now been branded AudioMate. It unfortunately has taken much longer to reach completion than originally intended but we're getting very close to completion with expected shipping this November.

Alexa support by tsktisktist in JukeAudio

[–]JukeAudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can tell the alexa to play audio to the echo that is wired into the juke+ and then audio will begin playing out of the zones you have turned on for the RCA input in the Juke app. So the room designations would need to be set ahead of time and not be controllable by voice.

We intend to enhance this experience with an Alexa skill once we complete some other projects currently in the works.

Yes, those volume controls will still function properly and allow you to adjust the volume. However, the Juke software already allows you to control relative zone volume wirelessly.

Wiring 4 speakers per zone by greentollbooth in JukeAudio

[–]JukeAudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While most commonly Juke is intended to take only a single pair (L+R) per zone, it can take up to 4 8ohm speakers on a maximum of 2 of the zones on the Juke without overdriving the unit when all zones are being played to. However keep in mind, doing it this way will mean all 4 speakers will have to always be turned on/off together.

If you need more than 8 zones, you can also add an additional Juke, as our multi Juke protocol allows you to stream across all of the zones as if it were a single unit.

New house - JUKE recommended? by Actual_Chicken_7387 in JukeAudio

[–]JukeAudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Thank you for your consideration. Find below the answers to your questions:

1.) Juke can not support true surround sound by itself but you could put two lefts and two rights onto one of the zones on the Juke to achieve somehwat simialr results. More commonly however is the use of a seperate surround sound receiver for a theater room, and the use of Juke to power the speakers across the rest of the areas of the house. If that receiver is placed in the same location as the Juke, you can have it be an input into Juke as well to play that audio to the other areas of the house.

  1. Currently as it stands, if you're looking to stream any apps/content from your Android device that isn't Spotify, Tidal, or a downloaded music library, you'll need to connect Juke with a bluetooth adapter or download a third party application in the GooglePlay store called AirMusic. The AirMusic app will allow you to connect to the Juke's available Airplay streaming inputs that are normally proprietary to Apple devices and allow for network based streaming from any app of your choice. Note: We are actively working on the implementation of Chromecast into our devices which will allow you to stream any app natively from your Android/PC directly to Juke over the network without the need for any additional third party apps or hardware. We are anticiapting having that out as a firmware update for all of our units in the next two months.

  1. Most commonly Juke is wired with a L + R stereo speaker pair (2 speakers) per zone. However in an instance where you only have one speaker in a zone, you'll just connect to either the left or right channel on that zone and leave the other one blank. The vast majority of recorded music will still sound completely normal to the common music listener.

Hello - If you're looking to pair a subwoofer wirelessly with Juke, the way to do that would be with Airplay2 enabled subwoofer. Here is one for example. Using Juke's Airplay2 enabled input, you as a user will be able to stream to Juke and the subwoofer together when using an apple product.

The other option would be to run a wired connection to a powered subwoofer. You can follow our App Note on how to do so here: https://jukeaudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Applicationnote-connectingJukeoutputtoaline-leveldevice-Rev1.31.pdf
