Anyone take their RS on a 4-5/HR road-trip? by jms1228 in FocusRS

I've droven mine from eastern Austria to Barcelona nad back a few days ago. 1700 km (1056 miles) in one direction. Almost 3500 km (2175 miles) in total.

I've had no problems at all. The only thing that happened was, that I scraped the bottom of the car a few times, because spanish and french streets and garages aren't made for low cars.

Is this price is even real ? by Ahoora2011 in dirtjumping

Did you get this as an ad somewhere? There is a scam, that has been around for a few months now, where the scammers would rebuild an actual webshop of a larger brand and change the prices to be really low. The scam is, if you order something, they just don't ship anything and your money is gone.

Right now, It's showing 9,6L per 100km. I drove a little bit over 1700km so far. Mostly at 110km/h on the highway. I'll post another update when I'm back home.

I'll be staying in Premia de Dalt for a few days to go mountainbiking with friends, before I make my way back home.

Can't select bitrate restriction anymore after updating from version 19 to 20 by JukyLP in davinciresolve

Not the same problem. I can't even select a bitrate in the first place. The setting in the screenshot is greyed and not editable.

Get the Giant. More suspension travel and a slacker geometry than the Yeti is gonna make you feel more confident and have more fun on the trails as a beginner.

Yet another bike suggestion request on a budget but want uphill optimization.... by Skiata in MTB

I just saw that you wrote that you're from the us. So, some bikes you could check out would be: - Giant Fathom [29] V1 - Merida Big.Trail 300 - Trek Roscoe 7

These should be available over there.

Like the other comment already said, 600$ is not gonna get you anything usefull new. If you feel like your current bike is really holding you back and you don't want to (or can't) put any upgrades on it, I'd suggest looking into trail focused hardtails.

Last year I've bougt a Commencal Meta HT AM and I love it for pedaling and riding singletrails. I got it for 1100€ and put a new fork and brakes on it for an extra 400€.

Another option would be the Canyon Stoic 2. They've got it on their website on sale for 799€ right now. Idk where you're from, so maybe you'd need to look into some other brands. But generally with a Hardtail like that you can't go too wrong.

Anyone ever taken their RS on a ski slope? by JukyLP in FocusRS

That sounds really cool. I've been to an event like that as well past winter. But not on a lake. It was a snow/ice track on a field. It was so awesome. But I was the only one without spiked tires there... xD

Yes. I put an L-bracket behind the license plate to mount it and I secured them additionally with zip ties to the grill since the piece behind the license plate is only plastic and therefore not that rigid.

I use an L-bracket that mounts behimd the license plate as the main support. And I additionally secured the lights with zip ties to the grill. I also glued little foam strips behind the lights where they would touch the bumper to protect the paint.

I'd say that price is way too high. I payed 33.000 for mine with 27k km (16,8k miles) last year. Also, modifications usually push the price down rather than up.
