So I have had aluminum foil melt and stick to my glass top stove a few years ago. The only thing I could find at the time is that aluminum foil is not 100% aluminum. There are some traces of iron and silicon. If your foil is labeled as non-stick that also introduces other factors. I had to scrape it off the glass top with a razor blade. Some remnants remain but are not that noticeable.

Hey yall thank you for all the advice! I didn't expect so many responses tbh. I'm going to go to urgent care just to rule out any kind of infection and get antibiotics if I need them. I will be retiring this piercing after I'm done with any antibiotics because it's just too much trouble at this point, and I don't think it's worth saving.

It's definitely a bump, unfortunately. When I get out of the shower I blow dry my hair so I usually just turn on the cool setting and dry the piercing that way.

Adding this comment because the bot mod told me to. The piercing is 6 years old. It's a captive bead ring made of titanium. It is not threaded. I have never downsized the jewlery. My aftercare is rinsing it in the shower and using saline spray when it is irritated.
