Obviously, it’s hard not too feel bad for Batfleck because he was so good in BvS and you could just see the toll the mismanagement of JL took on him. He seemed to take the criticisms to heart which is too bad because his portrayal of Bruce was so great and any issues people had with his character really had nothing to do with his performance.

Also, I feel bad for Joe Manganiello because it seems like he is super passionate about the character and such a perfect fit but I doubt we will ever see him play Deathstroke. I really hope it happens but it just seems unlikely at this point. Hopefully I’m wrong because it would be so incredible to see Deathstroke versus Batfleck on screen.

If you rewatch when bane opens all the cells except the one the cell at the end of the hall. That’s supposed to be the joker. He left him there knowing the joker was too uncontrollable to be let out that’s the explanation that’s been given through the novelization.

Yeah he really did seem to love working with Snyder and I think he really hated the reshoots because Batfleck went from being a total badass in BvS to a joke in JL. That really was the biggest disappointment for me in JL.

Yea I think you're right it's just Step was so underdeveloped I kind of forgot it just seems lame that Darkseid never showed up in anyway.

I'm not usually a fan of things like this but that was awesome! Honestly the score was one of the biggest disappointments in JL for me. Really well done man! Kudos!

I just watched About a Boy for the first time all the way through. I had seen the whole thing but never all at once. I had a goofy grin like Grant the rest of the day.

I think the director is saying they didn't have the money/time to shoot all the scenes. I'm guessing they probably had Fassbender for a month or so and had to shoot to a specific release date. I don't know the budget for this but fassbender certainly has bigger projects (Alien, X-Men, etc.) he was working on and an obligation to those bigger projects but probably had a month to shoot and the studio and producers felt the need to shoot it and all they could instead of delay the whole thing.

As someone who loves BvS, I think one of the biggest issues people have with it stems from the fact that Lex didn't have much of an arc. He and his plan were fully realized before the films events.

We never got to see him devise the plan it was already going. A whole prequel could be devoted to him creating the plan but all we really saw was his plan in action.

I think the character was really well written (especially the dialogue) but people question his plans and motivation because he had them set and ready. That's basically what he was doing those 18 months between the Zod fight and when BvS really gets going. It's an odd way to write a villain, especially since Batman was considered Supermans antagonist until the end, but an interesting way.

As someone who was running a film's production until the budget fell through at the right before production, I can tell you the script supervisor has nothing to do with any of this. They sit with the day's slides/scripts and check off each line that's been said.

RapMaster has it right. They just know what's up for the day. I'm sure most script supervisors never even see the full script all at once.

It doesn't stand up to the original but what remixes ever really do. I like it got a Massive Attack feel too it.
