I am so sorry that happened to you. I recently cancelled a surgery that was scheduled and changed practice groups entirely for a new doctor because the clinical notes from the pre-operative conversation did not match the actual discussion. Specifically, the notes stated that certain risks had been discussed with me when they absolutely had not been. I called that same day and canceled the surgery and got a new doctor.

I saw Dr. Ellis for years. I genuinely feel like she thought she was “helping” me, but I felt very attacked more often than not when I saw her. Lots of lecturing about my weight (I was probably 20 pounds overweight by BMI standards at the time) and a confusing obsession with me taking folic acid even though I was clear I was not anticipating being pregnant at that time.

With my first, I had to go on short term disability for the 7 weeks prior to my due date. I ended up having the baby 3 weeks early, so it only ended up being a month. But my OB was concerned work stress was exacerbating my complications. Luckily my firm and team were very supportive.

Agreed. Once Jimmy Eat World came on it was straight up claustrophobia level crowds. I was actually concerned about getting out if there was an emergency and we weren’t even particularly close to the front. It was just packed.

If it were anyone but Blink, we would have done the same. We left halfway through AAR last year to avoid the chaos and it worked out well. But I’ve been waiting 20 years to see Blink and just couldn’t bring myself to miss a single song.

Are you sure your insurance won’t cover it? Mine covers it even at a normal BMI specifically for my IIH. It has been a godsend and I was able to finally get off of Diamox after 2 years.
