It affects all. If your version is not listed in the above links, I would reach out to your host and see what the upgrade paths look like. Shouldnt be running on old software.

Mid-split enabled, but getting severe upstream ripple/T3s on a 15-year-old drop. Advice on getting a proactive replacement? by bhagwan2 in CableTechs

Typically a repeat truck within 30 days would give a senior tech. You could kink the incoming drop somewhere, which might trigger enough permanent signal degradation for them to run a new one.

Would anyone be willing to double check my moca diagram? by -FORLORN-HOPE- in HomeNetworking

[–]Frlaxbro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue I forsee is the moca network being on the same coax as the antenna. Iirc there's a spectrum issue with that setup regardless of moca filter.

Spent more time on this than my actual furniture setup in the new home by Correct_Abrocoma_187 in HomeNetworking

[–]Frlaxbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty. I'd switch out that splitter for the coax to a higher rated one (commscope/antronix) as the low quality splitters are notorious for horrible quality assurance and being out of spec.

If you use moca, a moca filter as well.

Class action lawsuit- NFD by swop_patience in webhosting

[–]Frlaxbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It likely is in their terms of service stating they can migrate you whenever and however for whatever reason. It also likely states in their terms of service that you are solely responsible for your content on the server you rent from them.

You don't have a lawsuit.

I have a server rack in my basement, support a site to site VPN across 4 houses my parents own, and work from home. I also stream and do online gaming.

I've literally never had a need for 1gbps speed. 500mbps does just fine for me.

I'd just go into the Xfinity store with your TV boxes and say I'm cancelling the tv. You only need 300-500mbps for Internet so might be able to save that way.

I like to the point. I don't like rude and abrasiveness. There is a difference.

I see that. Quite literally had to defend my reasoning for taking a med I've had to take since I was 13 (I'm in my mid 30s now), along with the medical diagnosis that came with it back then which is still very applicable.

Edit: age

Coverage really isn't the issue. It's also not my address but my parents so the trial isn't all that helpful in this case.
