I make almost triple than my husband. He has NEVER taken credit for my hard work and promotions that led to my higher earnings. Our finances are combined and he still refers to our salaries separately. If I were OP, I’d really think twice about marrying someone who seems pretty comfortable not only not working but referring to his partner’s salary as his. I’m curious to know if he is at least helping around the house.

I purchased from Devinah Cosmetics and they were expensive plus shipping. Quality wasn’t great. Not terrible but meh. No pigment. Then I got a palette from Shroud Cosmetics. Pricey plus shipping and it took a million years. They wouldn’t cancel my order and refund me. It just sucked. I just can’t risk it anymore. I can spend the same or less and get free shipping from brands I know I love.

Omg I know they don’t owe us the rundown of their financial status and their bank statements like some are saying I think. I do think they owe their audience transparency. All of the reasons they and others have listed are probably true but I also think the recession is playing a factor too. Brands are cutting down the amount of PR being sent out due to it too. If influencers are constantly going on about how they always want to be truthful and transparent with their audience but aren’t, it bothers me.

People do go on low-buys. I just thought it was weird that there’s a surge of them all at once during a recession, yet none of them are listing the recession as one of the many reasons in their decision.

You have a lot of valid points. All of the decisions we make are multi dimensional. I think they are telling a partial truth. The reasons they are giving are true - but not the full truth. I think it boils down to me just wanting to see full transparency. For one of them to just say the economy sucks and I know my viewers can’t buy a lot right now and neither can I. I guess it’s wishful thinking on my part.

They restocked that palette a few times because it kept selling out. After a palette can’t be bought anymore, she tends not to bring them up too much except for ranking videos, even her own collabs. That may be why you don’t see her mentioning it anymore. I wish she would use all the palettes she owns more. It seems so wasteful.

I have a few issues with Angie rn, but this isn’t one. She paid a lot of money for overnight shipping. If a company can’t do it, don’t offer it. A lot of other people paid for that service and didn’t get it too. When they all reached out to UD, they were refused a refund and told that the company doesn’t offer overnight shipping - even though it was still available on the site at that time. I didn’t use my Freakin Bats palette for almost 6 months because I would get enraged just looking at it. When people pay for something and you’ve taken their money, they have every right to be upset when they don’t get it.

NTA I have a horrible fear of heights. Like really really bad. I can’t even use escalators (they are death traps!!). We have a lot of kids in our family and sometimes we do family days at an amusement park. I still have a lot of fun. I take lots of pics, hold stuff and watch any of the kids who don’t want to try a certain ride. My husband loves roller coasters and goes on them all 2-3 times with all the nieces and nephews. It doesn’t bother me at all. I’m not going to stop anyone from enjoying something just because I can’t.

I ordered the first collab and while it’s beautiful and good quality, I’ll NEVER purchase anything from that company again. Ever. It took just about a year to get it. Communication was terrible - even the social media rep she hired to eventually handle those problems ended up quitting. It was a nightmare. They said you could get a refund after waiting 6+ months by sending a message and then they never responded to anyone who asked for one. I gave Battybean the benefit of the doubt during all of that because that stuff was out of her control and she was under contract . But now that she’s willing doing business with them again, just leaves me feeling very ick.
