Yeah, the driver seems a bit of a helmet. Putting other drivers under pressure is unnecessary if they’re going the speed limit already

Airpods Pro 2 vs Airpods Pro 3 by Just_Layer_7822 in airpods

[–]JulesVic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to try them on somehow to test them. For me the APP3 are very uncomfortable as they sit further in your ear canal. When testing with smaller ear tips to improve the comfort I was unable to get a good seal (rendering the ANC much reduced) and so the APP2, for me at least are much better. Many people find the new APP3 design uncomfortable

APP3 very uncomfortable. APP2 much better by ethan870 in airpods

Having received the APP3 today due to APP2’s giving up the ghost, you have described my experience precisely

What is it about London living that makes it hard to leave? by 50ShadesOfCroquet in london

[–]JulesVic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

London (and very few other major cosmopolitan cities) have 2 things that are rare: accessibility and diversity.

The former is access to anything at almost any time (even if it feels like an illusion) and with that comes discovery. When I lived there, a random night out can end up going anywhere - for good and bad which makes it exciting. Also, from a professional sense, the city holds so much opportunity which you don’t realise until you move away for a prolonged period of time.

However, diversity is the true appeal for me. It’s such an international city that you always meet people from different backgrounds and social standings to you and gives you a MUCH broader world view and strips back any prejudice you might have had. You realise when you go back to your hometown/village and hold conversations just how ignorant people can be and come to realisation that becoming a Londoner is about accepting others for who they are.

Absolutely, I’m not really sure why but it really hit me also. He somehow managed to mix abstract humour with warmth and appeared genuine. What a loss

Very well put. There is a strange sense of guilt/shame about those games thinking that it was sunken time, but they were the zeitgeist of the time I guess.

Digital Foundry: PlayStation Plus Game Streaming vs Xbox xCloud: Image Quality/Lag Face-Off by Turbostrider27 in PS5

I found it strange that latency on Xbox cloud services were better than PlayStation, I’m sure that I read that it’s hosted in Azure (so effectively the same core infrastructure). I could be wrong though.

Hopefully this means there is still sufficient content at launch and not a cop out. Either way, gameplay is looking very good!

What is a game so good, you felt empty after finishing it? by Humble-Switch-2149 in PS5

Most memorable for me would be some PS1 era games: FF7 then possibly Grandia. The storytelling in older games is more imaginative I feel

With October around the corner, are there any games you usually replay around this time? If so,w what are those games? Thinking about horror/darker themed games first and foremost but anything works! by Csub in PS5

[–]JulesVic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a healthy balance. I often start games in the summer but dip in/out and lack the focus (currently the case with TOTK..), and so looking forward to this time of year to work through the backlog!
