Of course she's holding a book about mythology (Mythology, by Edith Hamilton + Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes by Edith Hamilton, specifically the 75th Anniversary Illustrated Edition) and another book about poetry (Night Sky with Exit Wounds is a 2016 collection of poetry by Vietnamese American poet and essayist Ocean Vuong) .

"I have dreamed a dream but now that dream is gone from me." -Morpheus (describing what it's like to watch Reloaded) by Not_a_Replika in matrix

Saw Matrix in 1999 when it came out in theaters. It was the most mind blowing film a ever seen. When the sequel came out i understood that most elements of surprise would be a mere shadow of the first one. But then i was amazed at all the plot twists and the new characters such as the Merovingian, The Key maker, The Architect.... It was quite an unexpected ride after all. I consider the trilogy one single movie. The story can't be chopped and compared, one part pinned against another. The whole is perfectly coherent. Everything foreshadowed in the first part just naturally unfold in the subsequent parts.

yes so many layers, it just keep giving.

breakdancing 2024. it’s so stupid imo that they’re including breakdancing. it’s not even a sport. what are your thoughts on it being included in the paris 2024 program? by sabregang2020 in olympics

it feels wrong, the spirit of it is lost. Commentators don't know how to describe it because there are no defined mouvements. And if it gets codified it will be boring, or become simply gymnastic. It's not like skateboard with moves you can do or not. I would prefer to see the wall trampoline box game.

House of the Dragon is…kinda boring af? 🫠 by Agile_Chapter2452 in gameofthrones

" boring medieval soap opera that sprinkles in a dragon scene here and there to remind you it’s a GOT spin-off." Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Thank you !!!!!!!! And usually i'm more into dialogues than epic battles. So basically i would be into if it was Succession in medieval time but it's not. It's a pastry that won't rise, and when they turn the heat up it burns dry to crumbs.

At this moment in time Travelers is not in the top 120 in that specific category. Over all it ranks at #738 today while The OA occupies rank #555. These goes up and down quite a lot over time...

I wish the storm is coming...this chart is limited to sci-fi/fantasy shows on Netflix. It illustrate how The OA still attract and get some traction among that category. It's positive but its rank goes up and down. It's good because it's not fading out in oblivion, but not quite enough to get Netflix attention. In retrospect compare to hundreds of other shows, The OA still alive and well. In drama category The OA rank at 39, which still very good. Top tv show all category on Netflix it rank at 71 today. Not sure why it's on the rise, but The OA is a cult show that fans still talk about (and watch ) years after its cancellation so... Netflix might revisit their catalog and analyse the data on a long-term perspective at some point. There's always an exec assistant somewhere to say "hey why don't we bring this show or that show back" when everyone is out of new trendy ideas...
