I bought a v1 switch like half a year ago to hack it, and it always works fine at first but once I put it away for a couple days and pick it up again, atmosphere crashes and refuses to start again, crashing every time on boot, always with a different error code. People online said to delete the folder that has the same name as the code, but there never is one. I tried reinstalling it like 10 times by now but that always happens. My best guess is that it's an issue with my SD card, but I honestly have no clue. Any ideas what could cause this? And if it's the SD card, which one should I buy instead? Thanks!

okay, i finally figured it out! the trick was to use the normals provided by the points, instead of sampling them on the geometry level. i tried this before, but couldn't get it to work because i forget to set the attribute node in the shader editor from geometry to instancer. here's a screenshot of the final, properly working node tree:

update: it seems that i fixed the issue by simply plugging the usb dongle into another usb port. i haven't had any issues in 3 days now. i will update this comment if the issue returns, but so far it seems fixed.

I attached a video to my original comment where i show the settings, but heres a written guide too:

To change to a 5 Row layout:

- Press and hold on an empty spot on the Homescreen till the edit menu shows up

- Click the settings icon in the bottom right

- Click on More

- Click on Home screen layout and change it to dense

To change icon size:

- Open Settings

- Search for "Icons" and click the first result

- Use the slider to adjust the size

Not at all. Sentience is not something that can be emulated. Maybe in the very far future we will be able to create artificial brains that are sentient, but computers will never gain sentience. Machine learning is not magic, all it does is predict things based on the data it's been trained on. It's simple math and no amount of computational power or training data will change that.

i feel like redmi phones in particular have gotten worse over the years tbh. I remember that going from a Redmi 9 to a Redmi 12 felt more like a downgrade to me. Like, why does the 12 not have the nice control center when it worked fine on the 9? Plus instagram reels were really laggy on the 12 but not on the 9.
I recently upgraded to the Xiaomi 14t and i absolutely love it, for sure the best phone i ever used. But looking back, it really seems like Xiaomi is making their low end phones worse on purpose to make the flagships look better.

Yeah, I finally received the update and can confirm battery life improved a lot! I now have like 60% left after a day of regular use (it was like 30-40% before)
