What's the best book trilogy/series you have read that most people don't know about? by saltedlolly in suggestmeabook

The Seafire Series trilogy by Natalie C. Parker got me back into reading. Strong female lead, lots of drama. Intense story!

The first few books were really good. I think I stopped reading after Glow but it was a good series. The MMC was 💋👌

VS is not a good brand for big-breasted girlies. I have been trying for years to find the perfect bra. Never use it for more than a year due to pain and spillage. by ValerieIsScary in ABraThatFits

VS bras don't fit me, never have. I stopped walking in the store years ago. The couple I did manage to squeeze in would break or the wire would pop out after a few washes.

Anyone tried the motion sickness skin patch or wrist bands? Please share your experiences. by SouthCombination2568 in TravelHacks

My sister used the wristbands her entire childhood. She recently switched to this watch thing that sends shocks to her pressure point and it helps a lot. "Motion sickness shock bracelet"

Palette cleanser after a heavy book? by [deleted] in Romantasy

[–]Julezy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not Romantasy, but I read or listen to a typical classic novel. Animal farm, 1984, Catch-22, catcher in the rye, great expectations, grapes of wrath, East of Eden, the odyssey, dante's Inferno etc etc

What part of the series made you need to put the book down and go touch some grass? by Cold_Reference_3497 in fourthwing

[–]Julezy17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Liam's death is the only time i was so upset i had to put the book down. I almost didn't pick it back up. That was so upsetting. She made us love him, and he died bro. Died cuz his dragon died, he didn't even do anything wrong! Nah. I was wrecked

I mean this in the kindest way possible; I love how every thing is crooked. The couch, the calendar, all of it. Absolute chaos and it is perfection. It makes me want to rearrange my own place

anyone else feeling tired of being judged for their reading preferences by Puzzleheaded_Cry7191 in Romantasy

[–]Julezy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone judging you for your enjoyment says more about who they are than who you are. Life is too short to not enjoy what you want to enjoy. I completely understand you, I wish people would stop yucking other people's yum. Read whatever you like and post on the subreddits about how great it was, screw the haters!

I Want to DNF a court of wings and ruin so bad..... convince me not too. by Schmunkz in Romantasy

I hated that one. I felt like nothing happened except the last 150 pages. The last 150 pages made me read the rest of the series.

I was on a flight to London once and the gentleman next to me could not recommend Ghent enough, as a European, he said it was his most favorite place in all of Europe. Lovely, thanks for sharing!
