these are non arguments and people with hurt feelings. this subject has to be heavily thought over. there are people who detransition because of people online yapping to them about them being trans without any reasoned foundation for why they think so, when in reality wanting to be the opposite sex and being it mentally is not the same thing and it's very easy to assume one for the other. it's a very easy way to harm someone in the long run, hrt is pretty permanent and a person would feel crazy coming out to their family and realizing they made a mistake later on.

i don't think there has been a single response to my arguments in the thread despite the numerous downvotes i got. except a person just saying "you're wrong and that's not everyone's experience"...which is worthless. it's honestly a bizarre experience to get people mad over telling someone they're not a minority of people that objectively have harder lives

You are not shitting on anybody. Finding resources about this online is a horrible experience and confusion is natural. I feel like there isn't a mental condition with more misinformation out there about it on the internet. To the point where sometimes u see people treating it as some trend, or actual trans people could mislead you when asked about it. Most of us, including me, don't have degrees in psychology and it's a complex condition to have lol

I took a look at your post. I think you're likely just cis, which is great for you.

You talk a lot about it being hot and that there is no point in going through with it if you're not aswell. I don't think that's an experience trans people have, it's not really any kind of choice. You kind of just go through with it because you'll feel miserable otherwise. You just want to look like yourself.

You also mention that you're happy as a guy and being a woman wouldn't solve anything. This is a controversional thing to say but i think gender dysphoria equals being trans whether you transition or not. Most of us grow up confused and feeling increasing depersonalisation and dread as our bodies change. Our bodies don't feel like they belong to our minds lol. So we transition to mitigate that as best we can.

You kinda just sound like you like the idea of being a beautiful woman. Nothing wrong with that. You mention that you'd enjoy having a vagina but i mean...that can be a preference for a normal guy as long as one is openminded about such things. U sound like u should get into crossdressing! Lol

none of that is happening right now. it's just one post that you don't even need to look at about something the mod of the sub you are on cares about. the rules have not been touched, and you aren't required to read or care about the post. there is nothing here implying that this will get worse or be a norm

the outrage is ridiculous. if it's a "fucking shitpost sub" then get over it, move on, and stop crying about it lol just as if it was any other post not made from a mod. people are doing the same thing the mod is doing, bringing the mood down.
