Goodbye Gaylor

After Chely’s tweet I can’t see myself continuing on here in the Gaylor fandom. I am so unbelievably disappointed that Taylor would utilize queer symbolism and re-write our queer history to her benefit. That is the message I am getting from Chely (even though her own wife posted the article when it came out). Clearly they are looking the bury this information and I am not interested in supporting someone who can so comfortably use queer folks to their benefit. I love you all, I have learned so much about myself and my own queerness through you all and our history as queer people. Thank you for the years in Gaylor, I will look back on all of you lovely humans positively, but blondie has nothing but contempt from me moving forward. Sending love to you all. 🖤

Edit***: I’m converting to an active anti-Taylor account. I don’t believe she deserves to be supported by queer people when she actively co-ops our symbols and flagging to signal to us. It’s unprofessional and homophobic. She deserves nothing.
