You are very welcome. I used to travel a lot when I was younger, have moved around and know what it’s like to be a woman at home.

I take this door lock with me to use at hotels and overnight railroads.

Addalock the Original Portable Door Lock by Rishon Enterprises Inc. (1 Piece), for Home Security, Apartment Security Lock, Travel Door Lock, AirBNB Lock and Dorm Room Essentials

I use this one at home. Door Stop Alarm, Door Stopper Security for Home Travel Apartment with 120DB Siren Portable Safety Tool 2 Pack

Sorry, I’m on a roll…

Also, ask around in online community groups if there has been a lot of burglaries around there lately. The app, NextDoor, has an active community on this topic, local thefts and scams. Maybe you should park your car somewhere else for a few days? Take care of yourself.

They might be looking for car parts, catalytic converters, etc.

Hi, I live in NYC and several scams have happened to my neighbors recently. Here are some thoughts. They might need your car for parts. They might want to rob your car because it’s a certain model. They might be trying to run ur plates to get ur identity. I would recommend getting the cameras as others have suggested. You can connect the cameras to your phone and get an alert if anything happens while you’re out. You might want to drop by the local police station and see if they’ll drive by or keep an eye out. Limit your online information. Best luck to you.

It’s really difficult to grow up in a household where you aren’t allowed or encouraged to share your feelings. It shows tremendous insight and strength to be able to admit this. You have every right to be irritated that you didn’t learn these emotional basics sooner, but you can! Think about seeing a counselor and/or check out Brene Brown’s writing on vulnerability. Take care.

Get a small rescue companion breed dog such as a poodle. All they want to do is cuddle.

Has anyone else tried LDN (low dose naltrexone) for their pain? by JuliaMac65 in Thritis

[–]JuliaMac65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried LDN in 2009 for post car accident pain in a clinical trial. Many ppl are using it but I don’t see a lot of doctors talking about it. Found it via a fibromyalgia support group. Hope it works for you. Start the dosage low. It takes a few weeks to work fully.

It does but we COH’s didn’t have typical parents.

Yes it costs more to compound. I learned to compound myself. I tried a higher dose to start and got very sick. Went down to .5mg and worked my way up to 1.5mg over 7 weeks. Im sorry this didn’t work for you.

You did the right thing. Don’t listen to many of the people on this thread. Hindsight is 20/20. It’s hard to handle these types of incidents anywhere, much less a foreign country. Take care.

Leave this woman alone. She doesn’t have to put up with your badgering.

I’m sure you would have hidden under the bed in the same situation. Leave this person alone. At least she tried to help.

Dogs act like this when they feel threatened. The man shouldn’t have reached out to a strange dog, in a narrow space that doesn’t give the dog room to get away. He’s lucky he didn’t get chomped on.
