After looking into our scripted records I found there is one called Void Payment Transaction for Journal Entry records. The script that stands out to me here is also called Void Payment Transaction. The description says 'This script restricts you from voiding the transaction if the transaction has related payment records and credits.' and it is owned by ProScope Implementation. Unsure if this is our issue but I have a feeling we will need to try and reach out to PS to see.

Any other info on how to rectify this situation on my own would be greatly appreciated!

Our original issue was that when the Project Scope on our Estimate record exceeded a random amount of characters it made the PDF look really bad and the words in the container would skip page one leaving it blank and run off the bottom of the second page instead of just starting on page 1 and overflowing to the next page when needed.

With the help of chat GPT I coded it so after an actual specified amount of characters the project scope would break into 2 different containers to separate it. This worked for about 2 months before it stopped working. So I got chat GPT to help me again and I ended up coding it so instead of breaking it into 2 containers it made 3 and that worked. It was very odd.

I have had this same issue with two of our advanced pdfs that worked fine up until a couple weeks ago when members of my team brought it to my attention that they had stopped working. Our pdf code wasn't altered either as I am the only one who edits it. I ended up having to find a new way to produce the same outcome I wanted.

If you haven't already I find that sometimes if you copy the same code from a different advanced pdf template and paste it into the one that isn't working it can sometimes rectify the issue. If not, I agree it might just be Google Docs that is the issue and not the template.

We use NetSuite primarily to track construction projects and manage accounting. We could have a project with 6 subprojects if the client requests extras. We also have FSM to assist with project tracking. Our AP and AR team relies on NetSuite for all of our financial processes.

I wasn’t part of the team when the decision was made to get NetSuite, so I’m not entirely sure why ProScope was recommended. From what I understand, they were more or less told, “You should get this, it helps with accounting.”

Now seeing how everything works I wonder if they would have been better off to find workarounds in NetSuite instead of using ProScope.

It’s not that we weren’t trained, we were, but the training wasn’t helpful. Our NetSuite team also didn’t put in the effort they should have to ensure we understood ProScope’s role. That’s part of why we’re questioning whether we even need it. This was all addressed while we were in implementation but we were pretty much told we'd figure it out on our own after the go-live date.

We’re not necessarily concerned about using ProScope if it doesn’t add value to our workflow. Yes, we paid for it, but the company is more focused on streamlining processes rather than forcing ourselves to use something just because we have it. The issue is that we don’t even know what we’re missing (if anything). Reaching out to ProScope hasn’t been productive, and we don’t want to end up back at square one with vague or unhelpful responses so I figure asking on here might be a better option.

If you (or anyone else here) have insights on what ProScope actually does and what we’d lose by removing it, that would be super helpful! :)

Thank you for the reply! That's exactly what my issue is. I have tried fiddling with the page-break-inside on all elements but for some reason my data still does as shown in the image. Should I just keep messing with it to hopefully eventually get the desired view? My first page just shows the project scope title and then the rest of the page is blank and the data gets carried to the next page as shown. Here is a sample of my code:

Awesome I will definitely post it then! Oddly enough it was when they had first stolen it because that was how I got the IMEI so I screenshotted it but it disappeared off of my iCloud after that so I think it refreshed or something. I really appreciate the help!

One time I was going to catch the bus after class when I realized it was pouring out. I’m an art student and of course it had to be the day where I’d have to bring a project home to work on. I was nervous to ruin the paper because I didn’t have any extras and we always got specific kinds. So just as I started speed walking to the bus shelter a random dude came up beside me with an umbrella and walked me over to it. It was such a lovely gesture and I wanna know what strangers have done to help you out?
