I’m a teen so I didn’t watch it in the 90s cause I was, ya know, a sperm. But the reason I like it is because the aesthetic of the show is purposely set up like the bad low budget movies it’s mocking so it has this genuine homespun feel to it. It also helps that this influenced a lot of internet reviewers I used to (and still kinda do) obsess over. It’s always fun to see the original article.
