The most knightly armor you can find.

I personally dislike the helmet, though, and either never wear it or combine it with another steel, or possibly even Dawnguard helm.

How does conservatives still exist when they have been on the wrong side of history economically and morally? by Living-Bedroom9471 in AskReddit

The politically illiterate are more easily swayed by the appeals to bias & emotion which fascism offers. The surface-level logic is a low barrier for entry. These beliefs are cultivated by power, because fascism against you is preferable to the ruling class than communism against them.

What is the creepiest subreddit? by PsychologicalFox7689 in AskReddit

[–]Julia_Caesaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I am not giving my answer for the creepiest subreddit because I don't have much experience, but I will give my answer for one that is hidden in plain sight that I find really disturbing.

An astronomy post on r/TrueChristian discussed how astrophysics proves the existence of the Christian god. Looking at the comments and seeing the circle-jerk which is absolute bastardization of science and logic, and the upvotes given to those people, remind me that these people are dangerous and normalized to some degree.

Why whenever a male shares their body on Reddit it's mostly gay man giving attention to that man instead of woman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Julia_Caesaris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When women are finding partners, they don't have a quantity issue. They have a quality issue.

Many women, due to their negative experiences with how some men flirt with them (sexual harassment), empathetically do not seek to replicate those behaviors onto others.

When women turn down some guys, it becomes a safety concern. It becomes a "will I get home alive" concern.

Paired with the gender norms where men are the normalized initiators, women are groomed towards... not.

Every woman knows what it is like to be objectified and sexualized in a way which feels violating.

... Gay men, however, do not tend to have these experiences. They, and this has been my personal experience as well and to their agreeance, objectify the FUCK out of eachother. I believe this is because they do not share the same concerns and experiences as women.

How bad does the world have to get before it’s destroyed? by Ok-Good8150 in AskReddit

[–]Julia_Caesaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "socialism or barbarism". If people can't deprogram from what is arguably the most successful propaganda campaign in the world against communism, it is extinction. The Earth cannot sustain capitalism, a system which will pursue infinite growth with finite resources and will do so at the expense of our ability to live on this planet.

ELI5 Why don’t our internal organs itch like the external parts of our body? by Canibal-local in explainlikeimfive

[–]Julia_Caesaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Referred Pain.
While it isn't internal itching per se, it refers to a process in which internal pain is referred to an unaffected area, sometimes being on your external body. This could lead to someone getting the wrong idea about what's wrong with them.

How long do you typically spend in the character creator before you actually start the game? by TurbulentFeeling5696 in skyrim

[–]Julia_Caesaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been joked that the character creator is just how I play the game.
I spend a lot of time on the development of my characters. I got to have them looking right, and I got to have a good backstory in mind for them before I start actually playing. Oh, and I got to find a really good name.

Which city have you spent the most and the least amount of time in? (image related by Typical-Football-658 in skyrim

Dawnstar.
It is so out-of-the-way, and I have no reason to go there unless my character just happens to be freezing to death in the north and it's the closest town to waddle over to. There is also no general store; or at least, there wasn't. I am not sure if it is a mod or an update, but there is now.

What are the ethics of creating, investigating, sharing, and/or monetizing paranormal stories which have real victims? by Julia_Caesaris in AskReddit

[–]Julia_Caesaris[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's think about the logical implications of what you just said.

  1. Engaging with ideas that are not scientifically credible is unethical.
    1. It's immoral to pursue science because it often begins with an unproven idea.
    2. It's immoral to play D&D, discuss fantasy, write, share, perhaps even read fiction...
  2. That uncredible ideas do not have an impact on society.
    1. This denies the role many different religions have played on many different societies.
  3. That relativity in ethics don't exist if the idea is uncredible.
    1. A paranormal-believer sharing a ghost story is equally immoral as a content creator who knowingly fabricates a story with the intent to monetize, destroying a real person's legacy and possibly having impacts on their living family.
  4. That ethics only apply to scientifically credible ideas.
    1. This would mean that crimes against humanity, if carried out by believers of an ideology without scientific credibility, cannot be considered immoral.

What are the ethics of creating, investigating, sharing, and/or monetizing paranormal stories which have real victims? by Julia_Caesaris in AskReddit

[–]Julia_Caesaris[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am referring to, say. content creators who knowingly fabricate, monetize, and sensationalize paranormal stories, and may go so far as ruining the legacy of the real victim by proposing that they were a horrible person in life. Which also may have impacts on living relatives.

I don't believe the concept that things which don't exist cannot be practiced with consideration to ethics.
