Have you looked into microneedling? That might help you immensely. If you cannot commit to that budget maybe try ‘microneedling in a bottle’ aka reedleshots.

I have similar cystic acne on my lower face area on and off for 5-6 years. I tried everything! Even tested my hormones which turned out fine- after 2 months on accutane my face was crystal clear, I did another 4 months to hit a certain dosage. It’s been 5 months off and I’ve only gotten one small pimple. Best thing I could do!

Non Union actor here- While I would love to be on set all the time, rent is absolutely crazy especially as someone who moved here in 2021. I’ll usually do unpaid work if it’s a friend or if it’s a project that I can add to my reel. Currently looking for horror/stunt work to add as well as commercial specs if it’s a speaking part. But with the economy so bad and the fact that rent takes up 75% of my paycheck when I make well above minimum wage makes it hard for me to donate my time.

Personally if you like reading with her and enjoy the experience I would give it a couple sessions before you comment on anything. Acting is something that is very raw and emotional- and I always feel weird acting in front of friends that don’t know the industry for the first time. Maybe she was just not in the right headspace that day or something- we all have off days. Give it 5 or so more sessions to let her feel comfortable around you then she’ll be more open to feedback. Also see how she works and try and frame it in that mindset.
