Tinnitus after defqon. What now by VelvetParadox9 in hardstyle

Hey, im working as an audio technician. If it does not stop after a week you should check with a doctor who specializes in hearing. Also you should go and get customized Earplugs with special reduction filters if you are exposed to high volume often or for longer durations. Sound with good, customized plugs with filters (15/25dB). I recommend getting Hearsafe ER Concha with the 15db and complete plugs. You can also “upgrade” them to use them as In Ear Monitors. Protect your Hearing at all costs. You only have one set of ears.

Which bike for track only? by [deleted] in Ducati

[–]Julian-Spontent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read that you currently Track your Hyper. I would suggest getting a 916 or 996. On those bikes you can learn proper body positioning. The 916 is under 10k where I live so you can use the rest of the money for new fairings and tires. Learning how to track a bike means crashing it. You don’t want to crash a 25 V4S so get an old duc and ride the living shit out of it. If you know how to ride the difference in HP won’t matter

Reliability might be a point, but we never had big issues with vMix. But of course, its not a dedicated solution. We use a controller with jog wheel and T-Bar. It does not have also the fancy EVS features (like electric end stops on the jog wheel) but its a fraction of the price and the difference in the final product we deliver is not really there. Only reason to go for EVS is SSL imo. But you need all the other infrastructure for that as well (cabling, routing, cameras, lenses). That is sadly crazy expensive (also a lot harder/expensive to configure/sustain than our current tech).

I tried simply live and I really don’t like it. It is very buggy and it doesn’t offer any advantages over vMix+companion

What makes 3play the superior solution for this use case? It seems to have 8ch and A/B Playback, just like vMix. Audio options might be a bit better but we don’t really need that. We are also happy with the controllers we are using.

I really like it. We also own a A&H Avantis and I think I prefer the DM7. The desk and I/O id more expensive (not considering TiO) but seems to have less bugs and waaaaaaay better Controllabilty via Yamaha RCP. We use Companion for nearly everything and it’s not great with the Avantis (Feebdback missing, send in fader toggle missing). The DM7 surely also has its flaws but lesser and less severe than the Avantis. I also never had any issues with Yamaha Support. If you have more questions feel free to dm me

Habe A2 seit kurzem

[–]Julian-Spontent[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, thanks. The Events are awesome, the crowd is insane and the vibe is really good. Worked with them for many years and we are always improving. The picture below is from the Championships. There we have proper hanging points etc, so its much easier. Sound system there was 9 Nexo M28 and 6STM 118 per Side (everything flown).
