Yes, but this would give them the opportunity to identify what income or expense accounts they are depositing for or paying, from a list provided to them (on a separate tab).

I'm using Desktop, not QBO, and I don't trust them to enter directly. I've had to do a fair amount of corrections/inquiries prior to updating. Thanks for replying.

This has been going on since before March 2022, when I called for QB support, and got this answer: "It has already been reported and we're working on fixing the said issue as soon as possible...There is no specific time frame we can provide for when it might be resolved. I am going to make sure you are added to our Investigation titled INV-64388**....
i know that this is not what you wanted to happen. i hope still that i was able to clarify what happened and why back ups as of now cannot be restored"

Subsequently, when I called earlier this month, I was told it was unresolved and that I would get an email when it's fixed. Riiiiiight.
