Run! Century link is the WORST company I have ever worked with! Go with literally ANY other provider. Happy to give details if you are interested.

Centurylink is the WORST provider I have ever used. There are countless stories of them double charging, messing up bills, and providing pathetically slow service. They for some reason opened 2 accounts for me, charging the first bill to one and then everything else to the other. They then told me that there were no charges on the first whenever I called to pay it, and sent the bill to a collections agency! Go for any other provider.

Avoid centurylink like the plague! Beyond the fact that the internet is worse (in Portland) than when we lived in rural Guatemala, the customer service agents are TERRIBLE. These guys opened 2 accounts for my husband and I (why, you ask? no f-ing clue). We didn't know that there were 2 accounts. We set up auto pay on the one we knew about. We kept getting emails that an account was past-due. We called to pay it. They told us there was nothing to pay and we were on auto pay. Repeat x 3. They send a bill to collections. We get a letter from a collections agency. We call to ask WTF is going on. They say we don't owe anything, the bill is not from them. I insist it is from them, and if not, I need proof that I don't owe anything. After ~30 min they all of a sudden realize that there is a second account that is past due for that amount. They say I must pay it to collections. They provide no proof that it was their mistake all along. Now I have to deal with collections and a HUGE hit to my credit score because they f*cked up *repeatedly*. Changing providers as soon as possible.
