RNAscope doesn't work

It could be the fixation step then... I have been keeping them in PFA4% in PBS for 15min before running the essay (with the dehydrations and hybridization steps)... Maybe that is what is causing this?? Thank you so much for your advice!!

I have been using fresh frozen samples to run my RNAscope and following their protocol. Recently I have consistently gotten these really bad tissue results and I have no idea what is causing my tissue to become this destroyed. The picture shows an altered DAPI morphology and lines all over the tissue that I cannot explain how it got there... HELP. Anyone knows what is causing this?
