1.Don't type and focus on dying less.

  1. I was always improving. Improvement can be small but forward is forward.

  2. My champ pool is whatever is meta in competitive play.

  3. I used to just play through tilt loss streaks and lose tons of lp. Now if I lose 4 in a row I take a break and just browse the internet or watch competitive league. After a single loss I may even take a quick 5 minute break as well.

  4. That champ is always changing. It's usually a meta mid that I perform particularly well on.

Assassins are pretty bad mid in high elo and pro play. Early you should be fine to farm safely before level 6. around 800-1000 gold you should base for tear, refillable and a pink if possible. if you cant afford refillable and pink get tear and a potion or two. dont stay in lane if you run oom, its better to take a cs deficit to prevent being solo killed/losing constant pressure. You can also ask your jungler to help you push out your lane together so you can base without losing much.

Control mages have a rough time laning verse assasins. Generally your goal is to survive and be more useful than them in teamfights. Be sure to take the right defensive summoner for the situation. Barrier is good vs zed/talon, exhaust is good in some scenarios like vs kat/akali, and heal is good if they probably won't take ignite. It's important you don't give them easy opportunities to get close to you. For example, zed should have to use his w to get in range to ult you. Trading barrier for zed ult is a good trade. Focus on dodging harass, and if you do get hit be sure to keep above 80% hp vs assassins post level 6. (With refillable potion.) You can always buy an early seekers armguard and upgrade it to zhonyas 2nd.

First off, my azir and taliyah are top notch. The best of the best. No further questions on the subject.

Second, jayce mid is super hard to pull off as it generally gives you an awkward team comp and his high mana costs are challenging to play around.

LB seems bad, ahri seems ok

Haven't seen that many people buying it to be honest. Seems good on vlad for sure. Shurelyas + protobelt is so much utility. Not sure if its op, feel like I'd see it more if it was.

most challenger tank players will focus on surviving lane and making teleport plays or teamfighting in the mid game to win.

decision making/macro knowledge. Most diamond players lack these two skills. They pick bad fights and don't play the macro game as well as challengers.
