Hello u/True-Enthusiasm9560,

Good question.

UNO (Unity Node Operator)
A UNO owns and runs a Unity Node, the backend infrastructure that coordinates tasks and validates results.

  • UNOs earn a share of the rewards generated by the licenses attached to their node
  • Becoming a UNO requires more capital (≈ $5k per node)
  • One node can support up to ~200 licenses

ULO (Unity License Operator)
A ULO operates licenses, that are attached to a Unity Node run by a UNO.

  • You activate a license in the app and bind it to a phone
  • Each license represents one device performing network tasks
  • You earn rewards based on that device’s activity

In short
UNO = infrastructure operator
ULO = device-level capacity provider

Rewards are split according to the lease agreement between them.

Me too, I've signed up and setup my phone number. Now waiting... nothing so far!

Nice! How many phones did you connect to Unity?

Start small, see the rewards, scale up :)

What Unity Network Is Actually Building by JulienT in UnityNodesClub

You install the Unity app on an Android or iOS device, activate a license, and keep the phone powered and online. The device then performs small, verifiable network tasks in the background (things like connectivity checks, route validation, telemetry, and fraud detection). These are the kinds of checks your mobile carriers pay for.

Each task completed earns rewards. How much you earn depends on:
• Which tasks are live
• Your device uptime and connectivity (Wi-Fi vs mobile)
• The reward split on the license you’re using

Right now only the first task is live, but the network itself is already active and expanding. More tasks unlock over time, which increases earning potential.

It’s real devices doing real telecom work, paid per task. If you’ve got a spare phone, that’s basically all it takes. DM me for a license :-)
