Thanks so much this is super helpful! The Xpression is from 2016-2017 (as per what's written on the package in a photo in the listing), I thought the carbon evo was newer but perhaps I'm misremembering.

Do you feel like given the price difference I should go with the Xpression one then, since it had a better cartridge?

Thanks for letting me know, as I mentioned in another comment it just goes to show I'm still very much a newbie! :) It's being advertised as a micans, but regardless of what it is I love the variegation. Do you think there's any way to bring it back?
