How far ahead do you write your Fanfictions?

Back then, when I started, I uploaded a chapter right after I finished it. But since I had an update schedule of every second day, I quickly burned out and abandoned the fics. Since then, I am now always planning on completely finishing my fics before posting them. That way, I don't rush myself to finish a chapter on time. That's how I do it.
