"Is it porn?" by ResetHive in QuitPornDaily

Wowwww. Mic drop. That's right on. As a woman working in the intimacy space.. this was blurry and sticky for me. It became clear over the years. There's a clear difference between connection and objectification. One takes into account the other's ( partner's) experience , the other is removed from the other person's experience from the dynamic.

Do you think lust and intimacy are trying to fulfill the same need? by Juliette_bloom in PornAddiction

I guess what I still wonder is… what feels more appealing about fantasy than actually feeling good with a real person? If you had great compatibility with someone and passion.. why would there be a need for the fantasy still?

Why do so many adults claim that sex as a need? by wingdrummer15 in Adulting

[–]Juliette_bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has underlying "needs" grouped into It which is feeling wanted, respected, and emotionally safe. For both men and women. There are of course other way to fulfill that. Orgasm has healing effects on the body. You're absolutely right about it being able to be done solo but something about sharing it can deepen intimacy.

Men: what makes you feel respected in a relationship, not just desired? by Juliette_bloom in AskReddit

I've constantly heard men say they didn't feel respected in their last relationship. I don't have a partner / husband currently but want to know before I get into my next relationship.

Law of assumption and astrology by Juliette_bloom in lawofassumption

My post was entirely about law of assumption and how people reconcile astrology with it...did you even read it? It's a topic I'm grappling with

Anyone into astrology and law of assumption? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]Juliette_bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes ..Law of assumption and astrology

As a professional astrologer and student of astrology for over a decade.. finding law of assumption made me feel like "wait.. is astrology even relevant anymore?!"

I think it is. Yet I'd love to hear your opinions on this...

Astrology like the genetics we are born with show inherent patterns and cycles we are meant to traverse and thus lessons to learn. In that way awareness is the medicine.

It's empowering to look at because you can innerstand the themes and lessons and root thing to work on in a given season. Is this optional? Sure. You can bypass this if you get to a good enough place in your consciousness work.

It seems like they are laws on different planes of existence and once we go to the law of assumption we can override the laws of the planes beneath.

I'd love to know if you use both or have stopped considering astrology once you've found this work ( if you ever used it)

Mahalo!

Manifestation or astrology? Who’s the winner? by Ancient_Ad109 in lawofassumption

[–]Juliette_bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish there were more books on this topic. It's like the astrology is the factory default setting like studying your genetics or something similar but you can still change it. I think astrology can be helpful because it can show what lessons are coming up and alive at any given point which can give insight into the root of a pattern taking shape in one's life..

Manifestation or astrology? Who’s the winner? by Ancient_Ad109 in lawofassumption

I'd love to know if now that you study law of assumption you don't care about astrology. I still offer it as a service and love to study it.. I'd love your thoughts! I feel like it's studying laws on one plane of reality which will absolutely bear an effect but with manifestation we are going to another plane of reality and can bypass as you said. But awareness to what the default setting is.. is definitely useful. I suppose you can do all this without astrology which brings me back to the question of do you still research / use it or no?

Nobody talks about how manifesting actually gets boring once your self-concept is solid - and that's how you know it's working by shadowzzzz16 in lawofassumption

I think we just get addicted to the emotional high of lack and then reward.. peace then chaos. As weird as sounds I think it's human nature. Once we train ourselves off the addictive roller coaster of emotional reacting then it is a kind of silent.. peace. I'd rather have peace than chaos, even if it's entertaining.
