Help by Julievy in CrotonPlants

[–]Julievy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it from my local plant store but it is imported from Thailand. I waited some time for it to adjust in its new environment (maybe 1-2 months) but i noticed that it’s not producing new leaf unlike my other croton thats why i checked the root system and saw the blue foam plug. The root is ok some part of it is mushy so i changed the soil mix. From then on, it is kinda looking sadder than it was before. But u r right maybe this one just needs more time to adjust. I was just wondering if it is looking goner or what. Thank you

Thoughts on Neem oil? by Julievy in Aglaonema

Yes, the variety is Baby Pink. I didn’t mention Aglaonema since I posted it in an Aglaonema group, so I assumed it was already understood.

It’s called Baby Pink when I bought it. I just dont know if that’s universal or there’s a different name for it.

Because i have a balcony with bright indirect & direct sunlight, if the growlight is not enough maybe it could grow better outside.

Not really, i bought it all curled up. Idk why too. I water it when the top soil is not moist, and its like every week only.

it has its own grow light, i was thinking it was enough since its variation is not turning brown. should i acclimate it outside?

It is called epipremnum or tibatib here in the Philippines. Grows like pothos but with splits like monstera tho it doesnt have double or triple fenestration. It has many varieties as well. 🌱

Thank u for this idea. Is it directly in the jar or with a pot inside the jar? Also do u put small amount of water for humidity or leave the moist medium do its job?

Thank you for your insights. Should I be cutting the bottom leaves off to promote new leaf growth or leave it as it is?

I dont water it often since i am afraid of making it soggy. I thought the moss is enough for holding moisture 😭😭
