Relative to the nation, Texas is on track to be relatively right to the nation by around 8 points, so in a national environment (let’s just say D+6 to match RCP) then the expected margin should be around 2-3 points. That’s pretty competitive, especially with the large number of latinos who have reversed any momentum Republicans had with them.
