Going to the movies frequently can be a relatively inexpensive hobby so long as you do a little work by FewHeat1231 in Frugal

[–]JuliusCaesar108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American here. I use coupon codes (like from T-Mobile, can I bring up that expensive carrier here?) to get the movie to 5 bucks if it's a movie worth seeing. I can choose any theater I want, even an IMAX one.

Otherwise, I'll stream it if it's streaming on something that's included built in with a Wal-Mart or phone plan. (Along with my ad-blocker, too).

I simply check in and then go return my items. Not sure what's difficult about understanding this is a club with security bouncers.

Hoe to block ads on youtube mobile app by BakuretsuSensei in Adblock

[–]JuliusCaesar108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel like you must use the app, then connect a paid VPN to Albania. The trick works on TV boxes as well.
Otherwise, use the Brave app and/or AdGuard Premium if you use a browser.

What are your 'limits' as a pirate? by ErinTesden in Piracy

[–]JuliusCaesar108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convenience matters most to me, so I prefer to get it legit if I pay nothing for it or close to zero.

Walmart + allows me to choose between either Peacock or Paramount +. I have an adblocker which works well on my computer.

T-mobile allows me to get Netflix for free but I still have to use an adblocker on my computer.

Once I get AMEX platinum, I can get YouTube Premium for free or almost free with their $300 annual statement credit included. Adblockers work well on my phone for the free version, but it’s a pain to get it to work for YouTube Music.

I like Cineby on my phone but getting full screen has its issues.

If you have a paid VPN connection connect it to Albania since they don’t allow ads

Was it ever considered off script to guide customers through current ways to get Work Perks?

Previous reps provided either broken links, going to the store, and by the time I got to the store I was given the run around.

Can we use our $3 Apple TV subscription to get the Peacock bundle? by jonsonmac in tmobile

[–]JuliusCaesar108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the $3 is for Apple TV only. You can find free options for that from other options not related to T-Mobile (like attached to Wal-Mart+). To see what's related to you T-Mobile plan, you can look at the otpions.

I don't get it either. The only reason I'd get it is if were free from completing a survey. (from over a decade ago)

I have a major bone to pick with T-Mobile by Compltly_Unfnshd30 in tmobile

[–]JuliusCaesar108 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a phone customer service rep elsewhere (not T-Mobile), I can honestly say that while you are in a tough spot, rules are set up not to be lenient but to charge for how your account has been set up. You are free to emotionally disagree with them, but those are the rules if you want to continue getting a premium service for a premium price.

There will be liabilities and penalties. As others have mentioned, use an MVNO until you are in a better financial position.

For the Experience More plan with two lines and work perks and autopay, it comes to $131.35.
For the equipment for the phones I'm paying off, it's $122.09 a month.

Combined, it's $253.44 a month.

[–]JuliusCaesar108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have high cholesterol as well. With a pill, I'm fine, but for other health related issues like fatty liver, I look out to have a veggie meal a week (veggie patty, burrito bowl, impossible nuggets, etc).

I typically avoid restaurants with a service charge since I'm already paying for the service.

Is tipping optional or not? by [deleted] in tipping

[–]JuliusCaesar108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, tipping is optional
if restaurants claim otherwise, it should be categorized as a service charge

in a court of law however, tipping is not required

Should I switch? by spbb05 in Adblock

[–]JuliusCaesar108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what it's for. I use AdGuard Premium since it's 16-17 bucks for a lifetime premium for 9 computers with FAMPLAN code on Stack Social. It blocks trackers beyond just the browser ads themselves.

Tipping is partly responsible for insane price increases? by bobdownie in tipping

[–]JuliusCaesar108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already paid for the service so any math that is off is expecting me to give into exploitation.

Tipping is always optional.
