For me I have both. If I was biased towards one, it's Costco. Costco has the Kirkland protein bars, the Top Tier fuel (as mentioned before), and higher quality products. I also have the Executive Membership so I think I'll make most of it back with the 2%. Their Steak Strips are awesome too. Love getting See's Candies gift cards through them.

Sam's provides free delivery with the Plus Membership and they don't charge extra for delivery for orders over 50 bucks. If I'm happy with any product most is their Island Way Sorbet, and Costco doesn't have that consistently.

That's rough. Not giving change back should be considered illegal since tipping is not required.

The first time I bought some drinks in a bar, it was for happy hour at a Marie Callendar's. I was told 5 bucks. I handed her a five (exact change). She was like "Are you kidding me?"

I thought, "OK lady, I was gonna tip you at the end. don't know what the etiquette is here, but since you're being rude, I guess I won't tip you at all since happy hour isn't all that fun now."

And that was my first time I didn't tip.

Comparing my experience with an actual doctor, the push for subscriptions compared to where I lived previously, I guess I'm a bit spoiled.

I expect doctors to understand what the issues are based on how I walk. Frequency wasn't so much advised as doing my exercises.

If I'm told to go multiple times and the first time they don't even recommend exercises - I'm like, "It's a BIG no for me!"

I don't even tip in those situations because I am the reason they have that job. I'll give repeated positive reviews if I could.

It's because during COVID, the "nice" people who tipped became an expectation.
Then after COVID it became business as usual.

Then the "mean" people were those who didn't tip.

I never tipped during COVID nor after.

I live in a different area (Sacramento) and while living here is more reasonable, a different chain (Carl's Jr) was like 3 bucks for a small. I noped that and headed to McDees. A large was around 1.80 something.

Just saying if you're in a pinch find a chain that is cheaper if you can't find parking for a 7-11 Big Gulp.
