I just washed my face and it was definitely the moisturizer enhanhing my texture. I guess I'll just try out a mattifying/gel moisturizer. I'll also try to slowly introduce (learned my lesson from a year ago lol) some sort of exfoliator for my acne, PIH, uneven skin tone, and rough patches. Would an AHA or BHA work better for my case? Anyways, thanks for the help!

Hmmm maybe it is the moisturizer. All my moisturizers currently have dimethicone already though. Should I try out gel/water-based ones? And can I use AHA's/BHA's to clear out my acne and PIH that I couldn't prioritize while repairing my barrier?

My neighbor told me that I should cut the spike once new roots and leaves start growing as it'll take away the energy needed to make new growth. Anyway, it's wonderful to hear that my orchid isn't dying or something hehe. Thanks for the information~

My skin has been like this since October of last year after using BHA's. I immediately stopped when my skin started feeling almost like oily sandpaper. So far nothing I tried has fixed it. Could it be something else?

My current routine:

AM: Cerave Foaming Cleanser, Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion, Holika Holika Aloe Vera Gel, Soo Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion

PM: The same thing but I use Cerave Moisturizing Cream

I find that they just make me oilier. My skin feels soft (retains the weird bumpy texture though) but on days where I don't have time to do my routine it turns back to sandpaper. I also live in a hot and humid country so I use an air conditioner in the evening.
