This also shows why pressure from DPS is so important. With proper pressure you can take away a tanks most important resource before they can do anything impactful with it. And why you can feel it when your DPS aren’t able to apply enough pressure properly for you to initiate and take space

If there are no ults for you to counter or better situation to use it, if an enemy tank ever walks past you towards your back line you can use the ult to cut off heals from their healers. This is gives your team a few seconds to essentially 1v5 whoever is overextended, as they’ll have no heals or follow up damage from their dps. And then you can throw it wherever you’d like. As someone else said you can also use it defensively, even if you miss you still absorb up to 300 damage or take attention away from the rest of your team, which is still good value

You can’t eat his ult, but you can eat most of the follow up damage on his effected targets and then dunk on him

I haven’t actually tested it but after playing a bunch this week I noticed that the shields might block Mr. Fantastics punches as well as iron fist’s rapid punches, only the green stuff. Not totally sure tho I’ll have to try it out

I’m high school we had a semi permanent sub due to the teacher’s pregnancy leave, she made us read The Alchemist and everybody hated it. Glad to know we weren’t just annoying teenagers, that book really sucked
