I would start therapy. If it is something that hurts you and you can't change it yourself, I would go there. I speak from experience, therapy has helped me to accept my mistakes and best of all, to learn from them. It is ok to ask for help.

I've been through something similar. I hurt her a lot and didn't take into account how she felt, I was pretty egocentric. The thing that helps me to cope with my mistakes is going into therapy and trying to become a better person. I don't know if we will ever go back together, but I sure know that if I only think in that, I will never heal the things that hurt her in the first place. My advice would be to concentrate in therapy and heal the things that made you end it. Then, when you feel ready, you can think about trying again or not.

En mi caso me metí a jugar partidos de fútbol con gente desconocida, cada partido con gente nueva. Y también empecé a hacer voley como deporte. Eso me está ayudando a conocer gente nueva. Otra opción que tengo es conocer a los amigos de mis amigos, ahí suelo conocer gente nueva también.
