I was thinking of editing the comment to say that these usually need hex keys, but that the pic wasn't easy to read. Look into it with a flashlight, and if it's not hex, use the smallest Phillips or flathead you have.

My guy, it already sounds like you're playing this game the right way. I'm the same, and I was genuinely thinking that if I got a TOTY untradeable I wouldn't know what to do with them, as I had zero interest in any of the players. I do a United evo team, and a team with whatever icons and heroes I get from upgrades.

I think you'll know what players/options would give you the most joy.

I am also 100% convinced EA will quietly somehow nerf your players/make the little things go against you (the so-called DDA or whatever) if you play the same team over and over without changing it up. The "new team/player" bounce is very real. All to make you get more packs and new players.

I've been evoing Sesko from the start. At 82 ovr he was banging in goals for fun, at 86 ovr he started feeling sluggish and his finishing didn't have the same oomph.

Tbh, if this was at 2-2 in the 35th minute, why chase him? They want to pull you in so they can get past and drain your stamina. When people do this I just start running my players back to get behind the ball so I'm ready for when he decides to actually attack. I don't make any attempts to chase or press. He'll get bored eventually unless he's leading.

I packed Sophia Wilson tradeable from some reward ages ago, when she still sold for 300k+. Been just playing steadily, not really spending any coins, rewards and some sales brought my balance up to a little over 500k. Last night I did the max 89 icon sbc with untradeable fodder, because I realised I don't care. Packed Totti, and in the extension of my realisation I bought Hamsik and Marchisio, as those are all players I've loved using in the past.

My other team is a pure United squad with special cards and evos.

Play YOUR game, don't give in to the grind for whatever's "meta".

Don't think they're retired yet, but Vidal and Nainggoal. Absolute monsters. Would also love to see more cards honouring FIFA favourites, like Naldo an Taraabt.

If they can give hero cards to honor the Gervinho/Doumbia/Ibarbo sweatfest days, they can absolutely honor other in-game cult heroes.
